WWII German Blendkörper 2H (BK-2H) Glass Smoke Grenade – Original Inert Military Collectible
Own one of the rarest and most unique pieces of World War II German ordnance with this original Blendkörper 2H (BK-2H) Glass Smoke Grenade.
Introduced by the Wehrmacht in 1943, the BK-2H was a specialized anti-tank and smoke-producing device constructed from a heavy glass outer flask with an internal glass vial. When used during the war, the contents mixed upon impact to create a dense cloud of smoke intended to obscure vision and force armored vehicle crews to abandon their positions. More than five million were produced, but intact examples are uncommon today due to their fragile glass construction and wartime use.
This example has been permanently demilitarized and is completely inert. It contains no chemical, explosive, pyrotechnic, or hazardous materials and is offered strictly as a historical military collectible.
